For the most part, I talk about my career and what I am able to offer in terms of written content and client relationships. And whilst I pride myself on offering a good writing service, I am also just me. Karen Bradshaw – the mother, the partner, the daughter and the sister. Yes, family is very important to me.

So, I decided that, for this week’s post, I’d like to share some facts about myself that you probably didn’t know – although if you follow me on social media, you’ll likely know a lot about me already.
I Have OCD
I don’t mean that I like my books in a certain order or I get a bit antsy, I mean I have been officially diagnosed as having OCD and in the past, it has seriously gotten me down.
However, now I like to think of it as simply a part of who I am. There are times when it’s more difficult to handle but for the most part, thanks to my wonderful doctor and the help of medication, it is perfectly under control.
I Am Very Spiritual
I’m a born-again Christian and have been for many years having being brought up in a religious family. I did turn away for a while but soon came to realise that faith was important to me.
Additionally, I also have a huge passion for yoga, meditation and chakra healing, all of which I achieve through spiritual practises. Many people are under the impression that Christians and the Eastern practises shouldn’t or don’t mix but I don’t think this could be further from the truth.

I Am Terrified Of Flying
No matter how many times I board a plane, I am still left convinced that I am going to do and my anxiety levels shoot through the roof the moment I enter the airport.
I don’t know what it is. I know that it’s ‘the safest form of travel’ and I know that my sister spent more than 10 years as cabin crew and lived to tell the tale yet I just can’t shake the feeling.
I Am A Huge Nerd
Something that I didn’t like to admit through my teenage years and even as a young adult but I really am a nerd.
I love learning and I have an unhealthy obsession with notebooks and filling them with anything I can write.
Whilst I used to be embarrassed of my good general knowledge and thirst for more, I’m not rather proud to wear that nerd badge of honour.
So, there you have it. I hope these little facts help you to get to know me a little better and if I ever have the pleasure of working with you, maybe it will feel as though we have already formed a connection.
I wish you a wonderful week!
